    Alfamart and Rajawali Foundation signed the cooperation model of work readiness program and work skills training. The target is young people who are poor and vulnerable, with disabilities. PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya (SAT) Tbk Human Capital Director Tri Wasono Sunu said, Alfamart and Rajawali Foundation, would build more inclusive job seeker candidates. The trick is to provide training and specialization, including for persons with disabilities. "It is hoped that through this cooperation, prospective workers will be obtained in store units (store crew), warehouses (helper), and sales canvassers (member relationship officers) who are competent and ready to work. It also creates reliable retail-based entrepreneurial candidates, "he said at the Alfamart branch office in the Wijaya Kusuma Industrial Estate Complex (KIW) Semarang City, Wednesday (9/25).

    Rajawali Foundation Executive Director Agung Binantoro added, the collaboration was a commitment to building a sustainable workforce readiness. In 2019, inclusive employment development is directed at around 4,000 disadvantaged and vulnerable youth from 16,000 in the integrated government database. Afterwards, as many as 2,000 selected were able to join the work readiness training program. It is targeted that at least 1,600 underprivileged and vulnerable youth can work or get better jobs. "Later, a work readiness program modeling will be made by aligning skills training or soft skills with technical training, especially for the retail field," he explained. (den / ton)
